Monthly Network Meeting
Topic: GPS (Group Peer Support) Circle for Non-Profit Providers and Community Workers.
In lieu of TIHC’s monthly network meeting, there will be a special GPS Group Peer Support circle for nonprofit providers and community workers to have a chance to process all that is happening and how we are feeling about it.
Here’s a description:
This is an evidence-based, trauma-informed model that will be led by two certified trained facilitators. Come experience a powerful model and get some much needed support at the same time!
Resilience Roadshow Workshop
A FREE 90-minute interactive workshop to help civic, social service and faith-based organizations, libraries, non-teaching school staff, businesses, and other community groups and individuals in Hampshire County better understand the impact of trauma and how to build a more welcoming and resilient community.
This month, will be an in-person Resilience Roadshow free training at First Churches, Northampton. What does it mean to be a more trauma informed and responsive community? Review the basics on the the Adverse Childhood Experiences study, how trauma impacts people’s lives, and what we can do to create a kinder community.
