Resilience Roadshow Workshop

A FREE 90-minute interactive workshop to help civic, social service and faith-based organizations, libraries, non-teaching school staff, businesses, and other community groups and individuals in Hampshire County better understand the impact of trauma and how to build a more welcoming and resilient community.

What does it mean to be a more trauma informed and responsive community? Review the basics on the the Adverse Childhood Experiences study, how trauma impacts people’s lives, and what we can do to create a kinder community.

Topic: How a trauma informed and peer group model can help people declutter.

Here’s a description:
Lee Shuer, a national expert, will lead a discussion about what happens when we recognize the trauma that is often behind our inability to let go of things we don’t need. He will share his experience using a trauma informed and peer support model to help people regain control of their collections and clutter.
